Our golf lessons and clinics are hosted at Richmond Country Club (RCC). Just 30 minutes from downtown San Francisco and 15 minutes from Berkeley and Albany and with one of the best practice facilities in all of the Bay Area, RCC is the perfect place for you to hone your skills.

PRACTICE AREAS

RCC boasts a full ALL GRASS driving range where even Tiger would be safe hitting driver straight as well as left or right (on his bad days). There is a separate pitching and short game area with manicured greens for short shots up to 50 yards away. Practice bunkers dot the short game area to make all your practice needs available.

dress code at richmond country club

The following general guidelines apply to adults and children above the age of five and to all areas of the Club:

1.    No tank tops, halter tops, T-shirts, cut-offs, fishnet, football or other athletic type shirts, bathing attire, sweat pants, work-out or warm-up suits, or any clothing displaying logos or lettering in poor taste.

2.    Denim is allowed in the clubhouse and dining areas.  Denim is still not allowed on the course or practice areas, which include the putting green, driving range and two short game practices areas.

3.    Shoes and/or sandals are required.

4.    Soft spikes on all golf shoes.  Traditional metal, ceramic or other types of spikes are not permitted.  Members are asked to inform guests of this policy prior to the date on which the guest is scheduled to play.

5.    Members and guests shall not wear hats or visors in the public areas of the Club House.  Exceptions will be made when hats are worn for medical reasons or as part of an ensemble for a social gathering not part of a golf event.  Neither visors nor baseball caps should be worn backwards or sideways.

6.    All articles of clothing must be neat and clean.

7.    Men: Long pants or golf shorts no higher than four inches above the knee and no lower than the knee.  Collared shirt, sport or turtleneck/crewneck shirt.

8.    Ladies: Long pants, golf shorts or golf skirts no higher than four inches above the knee.  Shirts must have either a collar or sleeves.

9.    Crew neck pullovers may be worn provided they are over a collared shirt and the pullover presents a neat, clean appearance free of any offensive communication.  A pullover is distinctly an over product and not a tee shirt; offensiveness is determined by the management.  An appropriate collar extends at least one inch above the base of the neck and should not extend more than two inches up the neck.  Any product sold through the Richmond Country Club Pro Shop is considered appropriate attire.
